The #whitecouchproject was created in 2015 with one goal in mind: creating amazing memories while giving back to the community. Since then, hundreds of families have been photographed and $15,800 has been donated to non-profits in Madison, Wisconsin.

This event captures photographs of families, friends and individuals for an affordable price with 100% of the proceeds being donated to non-profit organizations in Madison. Talk about Capturing Memories with Meaning!

The Couch - Speaks for itself This beautiful couch has been through broken legs, stains, jumping kids, and many locations. We are happy to announce we have been so happy with the performance of this couch that we just had to get a second!

Casey - Founder/Photographer I started the #whitecouchproject in 2015 to give friends of mine family photos during the holidays. Then I thought, why not expand to the community and get more people involved! At the time, I was taking some much needed time away from my 9-5 and was a freelance designer and photographer. This gave me a little extra time to be creative. I was so impressed with the turn out that even now working as a full-time Sr. Graphic Designer, I am excited to continue, year after year. It has been a pleasure getting to know the families and individuals who attend. This year I wanted to introduce you all to the awesome team that helps make this event possible. Please take a minute and read a little about the people behind the project.

Lacey Hi, I’m Lacey and I’m stoked to be apart of the #whitecouchproject this year! Casey and I met about 10 years ago at Great Wolf Lodge as Graphic Designers right out of school. With identical handbags on my first day on the job, it’s safe to say we became good friends. Since then, any time the “Aceys” get to work together again is always a blast. I am now a Senior Graphic Designer with a side hustle in Microblading utilizing my illustration stills. Please feel free to follow me and I look forward to seeing you at the #whitecouchproject!

Tori Letterer, designer, and photographer currently based in northern Door County, WI. Through my college years, I found my passion for lettering and design. With the support of my friends and family I, turned what started as a hobby into a business! It was not long after launching my Etsy business that this little hobby of mine crossed paths with Casey, founder of #whitecouchproject. I first met Casey while attending one of her first White Couch Projects back in 2015. It was such a fun experience to be captured over the holidays while supporting the UW Carbone Cancer research. As our friendship grew over the years, I became inspired by her dedication to give back to the community. Casey donates her time and talent to capture hundreds of families each year all while supporting local research foundations. There was never a doubt in mind that I knew that I wanted to work with her someday. I could not be more excited to be joining Casey and her team for the 2018 #whitecouchproject!
